The IT department at Greenpeace International is seeking an IT Intern to join
their fun team!
This full-time IT Internship will be for a period of 6 months and the position is located in Amsterdam. The proposed starting date is 1st May 2020.
You should have the ability to learn quickly, be flexible and be able to work outside of your comfort zone. Strong communication skills are needed in order to explain complex technical terms in a simple manner.
As IT Intern you will be working very closely with the local IT team and with different departments within our organisation. The local IT Team provides IT support for multiple Greenpeace Organisations. Experience has shown that our interns are able to develop themselves personally and professionally and our team develops and benefits in turn.
The candidate will have the opportunity to choose their own developmental path, which can be tailored to their interests. Previous colleagues have focused on learning a new coding language, navigating the command line, getting a taste for machine learning and web/mobile app development. This internship will allow the ideal candidate to explore some exciting new topics that Greenpeace International feels is necessary to further our environmental goals.
