The IT department at Greenpeace International is seeking an IT Intern to join their fun team!
The IT Internship will be for period of 6 months and the position is located in Amsterdam.
You should have the ability to learn quickly, be flexible and be able to work outside your comfort zone. Strong communication skills are need to explain complex things in an easy way.
As IT Intern you will be working very closely with the IT team and potentially with different departments within our organisation.Our experience shows that our interns are able to develop themselves professionally and our team develops and benefits in turn.
The candidate will have the opportunity to choose their own developmental path and may be required to learn some scripting, coding or navigate the command line to be able to complete their project. This internship will allow the ideal candidate to explore some exciting new topics that Greenpeace International feels is necessary to further our environmental goals. Expect to get involved in big-data, AI-topics, machine-learning, Air-quality control and citizen-science!
The only real requirement to be able to tackle these things is a keen willingness and ability to learn quickly and think outside the box.

Remuneration is by a modest monthly contribution towards cost of living of €400 for those already resident in the Netherlands, and €800 for non-residents.

Please note that we can only accept interns who have the right to reside and work in the Netherlands.
An Internship is intended for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies within the last twelve months.
Interns residing within/up to a distance of 150 km from the office in Amsterdam are entitled to 400 euros net as monthly stipend. Interns residing beyond 150 km from the office are entitled to 800 euros net as a monthly stipend.
